It Was The Best Of Weeks, It Was The Worst Of Weeks

This week has had a lot of highs and lows. On Thursday, Julio was baptized, which was amazing! Forty to fifty people showed up and it was great to see the support system he has. He looked so happy to be baptized and I think this will be a big turning point for him.

We were also able to do some great service this week for a Romanian family, we met through a fellowshipper and we are hoping to start teaching.

This week we also had zone conference, which was an amazing spiritual experience, as always. We talked a lot about how we could support our companions, receive revelation concerning the people we teach, and ways to study.

On a not-so-great note, the next day I woke up sick - throwing up. So, I've been confined in the apartment for the last three days. Luckily, I have recovered now, but it was not fun. I've spent the last few days doing social media work, working on our area book, and trying to recover. In the plan of salvation, we talk about how we can't appreciate things until we feel the opposite. Let me tell you, it feels so good to be healthy again! I am really appreciating feeling good!

7 To Church!

Hello,

This week has been great. Lots of contacting and meeting with members.

It’s Julio’s Baptism this week, which is exciting and it's on the same day as zone conference so it will be a busy day. Some cool experiences this week have been a family we have been teaching all came to church, which was great, and the testimonies shared during sacrament meeting were fire. (Though second hour they talked about tokens and covenants which was confusing to them. But I explained that tokens are symbols, and the sacrament and baptism are both symbolic.) We were able to get seven people to church this week -which is always great to see. Also, some fellowshippers have been able to meet with some people who have been very difficult to get a hold of.

The mission had a mini mid-transfer yesterday, since so many people were leaving for original assignments. Luckily, we got a call saying neither of us are leaving - but our district is changing up again.
