Staying With Hoffman In Orem/Vineyards

Hello Everyone,

I am doing well; the work is good, and the people are great! Elder Hoffman and I will be together for another transfer, which will be exciting. We're teaching a lot of people, including people from all sorts of backgrounds.

This past week has been great. We started teaching someone who had already read to 2 Nephi before we even met them, and we met some youth who want to learn more and hopefully be baptized. There are so many miracles we can have in our lives due to our faith, but more importantly, because of the love of God. I know we are His children, He loves us, knows us by name, and He has a work for each of us.

During a blessing earlier this week it became very clear that God does not just work with us, He waits for us. He knows and sees far longer down mortality and eternity than we can, and He knows when we are ready. He and his Son (Jesus Christ) really do stand at the door and knock, just waiting for us to let a greater portion of them, and their influence, into our lives.

Last week our mission released another "Why I Believe" about a man who climbed Everest. It was really inspiring. It really shows how anything is possible, and that is especially true when we put ourselves in God’s hands. Mission life is so amazing! We meet so many cool people, interact with amazing missionaries and learn to truly become disciples of Christ.

I hope your week is amazing, safe, and full of love.
