Hello!
These last few weeks have been crazy. Julio received the priesthood and will be passing the sacrament, which is going to be great. We currently have three people on date for baptism which is amazing.
We had a great experience last week trying to start teaching a new family, the Bagbys. We knocked on their door and they didn't answer so we left them a restoration pamphlet and left the building. We felt prompted to go back and knock on another door. Just then, the door above us opened (the one we originally knocked) and they called down asking if we were still there. We were able to run up and share a two hour lesson!
We also started teaching a great couple yesterday. The husband, Josh, has already read Saints and half of the Book of Mormon, and the wife, Kiki is from China. Along with them, there are a lot of great people we are teaching. We have been able to do a lot of service including helping people move, putting in fiberglass insulation, and doing yard work.
Being here in Utah has been great. There are amazing members here. We've met people from other countries, languages and cultures. We are currently teaching a part member family from the Philippines and another non-member family from Romania.
I'm so grateful to be serving here and to be around these nice people.
